Looking for soundtracks for animation can be a difficult task. The studios do not release scores for their TV entertainment, and try things out for years are almost impossible. I thank God for the life inspired compilation. These sets of giving us music lovers cartoon taken we need. A similar result is "Saturday Morning Cartoons Greatest Hits."

Published by MCA Records in 1995, "Saturday Morning Cartoons Greatest Hits" offersnineteen (19) theme songs and classic songs to enter the twentieth century, some of the best performances of the artists of the twentieth century.

Music Hit

Listening to the CD while writing this review, it is quite clear that I'm a fan of music entertainment. The CD starts strong and does not stop if you go out. There are scores of music in the way of. The artists sound like they enjoyed performing their songs, which creates the fun. L 'The artists seem to be natural fits for the individual tracks as well. I feel like I could pop in the CD and run the country several times just listen to music and isolation, and that he would never grow old.

Review of Greatest Hits Saturday Morning Cartoons'

Speaking of singing, see the brochure the lyrics to all tracks. Each track is coming with a description of the original cartoons, they, as well as a quote from the artists who made them run. The booklet concludes with an essay by the commentsThe compilation of the producer, Ralph. Write a review inspired by a compilation soundtrack of the works must not only be on the disk itself. Each title is worth mentioning on its own.

The first track on the CD is "Between The La La Song (one banana, two bananas)" from "The Banana Split Adventure Hour". Performed by Liz Phair and Material Issue, "a banana, two bananas" is a fantastic start to the show. I have never seen or heard of this puppet show, but Phair andEdition of the delivery of this song makes me want to find out what I missed.

Play in the towel, the British "Speed Racer", "Go Speed Racer Go" theme captures the spirit of the show. It's quick and relentless. After Vinnie from Sponge "as" Speed Racer "has given me, we gave back in the form of a musical monument, and it shows. The third song is "Sugar Sugar" by Mary Lou Lord Semisonic. This with the title of "The Archie Show" was a hit in music chartsin 1969, and made the Lord and Semisonic, I can see why.

No Cartoon Compilation Soundtrack Compilation Soundtrack would be a cartoon without a Scooby Doo or two songs, "Saturday Morning" is no different. Matthew Sweet "Scooby Doo, Where Are You?" is a fun take on this old classic. I wonder if that title was all that was sweet had to be chosen for the title song for the new series of Scooby Doo, "Scooby Doo Mystery Inc." do

The other songs on the album"Josie and the Pussycats" as Juliana Hatfield and Tanya Donelly made, "The Bulldog" by Collective Soul, Butthole Surfers, "Underdog," "Giant" Helm, "Spider-Man" by the Ramones, "Fat Albert" Dig " Popeye "face to face," the goolies Grove "by the Toadies, Sublime" Hong Kong Shame, "" HR Pufnstuf "through the noise, and many others.

The final track, "happy, happy, joy, joy" from Ren and Stimpy ", hosted by Wax was a good choice. The song embodies the emotionsyou get to hear from this CD. It should be noted that some of these songs are not about a cartoon, but from puppet shows. This is only gripe with the disc. Puppet shows are great, but they are not cartoons, and should be based on a compilation of the greatest comic book called "hits" is not.

Having said that, "Saturday Morning Cartoons Greatest Hits" is ideal to collect one for every fan of animation. A review of Bon Jovi's Greatest Hits

If someone shows presented to Bon Jovi during their "hair band" days, his time more sophisticated adult contemporary, or preload, Discovery Channel, it is easy to understand the appeal of the band's catchy hooks and hard to beat. With a career more than 25 years, members of Bon Jovi have done well and for his new Greatest Hits collection is a mirror image of it.

Bon Jovi found their niche early rock anthem awardsand power ballads. Retrieved from "Livin 'On A Prayer" to "my life", their songs are about inspiration, he stops to saccharin.

Music Hit

Although the songs on the Greatest Hits of Bon Jovi span in 1983 to the present, it is difficult to feel the difference of position as the song by a production. Maintains a timeless quality, perhaps because 80 blocks, strange synth and guitar solos over-the-top, do not creep in only two of the title, "Bad Medicine" and "Born To Be MyBaby. "The only song really" hair-band ", a song worthy of scan is the band's first hit" Runaway. "Nevertheless, it is forgivable because the band is always true voice yet, and it's still a good tune ... And historically , was significant for their future success.

A review of Bon Jovi's Greatest Hits

The only deviation from their heavy sound in the single-disc version of "Greatest Hits" is the country-inspired "Who Says You Can not Go Home," a duet with Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland. Sounds a bit 'Situated next to the rest of the hard-rock collection, but the track better than the rock version, so that their integration.

For a total of fans, the latest version of the "Greatest Hits of Bon Jovi" contains a second CD with songs that stormed the charts do not include even if some of the best work on tape. These include more land sounds like "Lost Highway," Mellow "(You Want To) Make A Memory" and hard-driving rock in "Keep The Faith."

The only place this could be the album 'Public is the new, never previously published figures.

The eminent alone among the new songs is "This Is Love This Is Life" by Bon Jovi on the second CD "Ultimate Collection". This song is a hymn as hard as one of the best Bon Jovi, worthy of a single group with a signature text and beat perfectly married.

another new song The second CD is "The More Things Change," which is schizophrenic in nature. The opening of the court for the hearing of more hard-rock, butthen provide a bit 'of a country or rock song of the south, the way things are today in the world of music they have been years when the band started listing a few things that have changed in the past. The message seems confusing.

The new songs on the disc is a "What Do You Got?" and "No Excuse". Both are decent tunes, but it sounds like "No Apologies," as it would be better to be home on a record of Meat Loaf here.

Overall, however, fans can not deny the new and old, remainIf a band that has survived the game of metal 80 and over the years has continued to go with a few modifications to its sound. Good music is always a long breath, and "Bon Jovi's Greatest Hits" is good music, no matter the decade . It is worthwhile to look for a good conclusion.

Review of Greatest Hits Saturday Morning Cartoons'

This is a large number of classic cartoon songs of some of the heme Conductthe best voices of the music. Even if they are not cartoons, it is necessary to take only the music for fifteen years after its original release, the music and composition are. the most fun and enjoyable, and I expect to stay sick so far in future.

The Greatest One Hit Wonder Band 1990

Music hit

The people loved and still love music of the 80s, but what about the 90? The 90 years have been full of forgotten treasures that the basis for future action. Bands like Green Day, Radiohead and Pearl Jam made it big then and are still enormous.

However, there were also those bands, the singers seemed to suddenly form, hit by one, a big hit and then disappear just as quickly as it arrived on the scene the Internet.

These are formally known as a one-hit wondersand no one can remember the name of the band only the title of the hit songs, for obvious reasons.

Take breakfast at Tiffany's song for my first example. This song was, the crowd went wild for this, but one wonders how many other hit, no one can remember the names of the band can be when?

Probably could not think that there are ten tried, it was Deep Blue Something, the sample One Hit Wonder of the 90s.

Try another, "The Way", which was aShot in the late 90's and loved by many. This is actually still played well today, but the band has never done another song so good that you make.

The Rembrandt, they are my third temporary feeling, to make the list. Their hit song is played and heard many people every day and would not even be able to track and share the band's name with the results.

I'll Be There For You, ring bells? It 'was a song popular at the time, became theShow theme song for the TV show, Oh, now I remember! And like everyone else, The Rembrandts faded into oblivion.

But the questions of who has helped to bring one-hit-list of sensations for the year 2000? That will be available soon.

Review of Saturday Morning Cartoons' Greatest Hits

Music hit

Looking for animation soundtracks can be a daunting task. The studios don't release soundtracks for their television animation, and trying to find stuff from years ago can be almost impossible. Thank God for the existence of inspired compilations. These compilations give us cartoon music fans the outlet we need. One such outlet is "Saturday Morning: Cartoons Greatest Hits".

Released by MCA Records in 1995, "Saturday Morning: Cartoons Greatest Hits" offers nineteen (19) tracks for classic theme and insert songs from the Twentieth Century, performed by some of the Twentieth Century's best performing artists.

Listening to the CD while writing this review, it is quite clear why I am an animation music fan. The CD starts off strong and does not stop once it gets going. There are no sound bite tracks to get in the way of the music. The artists sound like they were enjoying performing their songs, which adds to the fun. The artists seem to be natural fits for their individual tracks as well. I feel like I could pop the CD in and drive around the country several time just listening to and singling along with the music and it would never get old.

Speaking of singing, the booklet includes the lyrics to all tracks. Each track is listed with a description of the original cartoons they come from, as well as a quote from the artists that performed them. The booklet ends with a commentary essay from the compilation's producer, Ralph Shall. Writing a review of a soundtrack compilation of inspired works shouldn't just be about the disc itself. Each individual track deserves to be mentioned on its own.

The first track on the disc is "The Tra La La Song (One Banana, Two Banana)" from "The Banana Splits Adventure Hour." Performed by Liz Phair and Material Issue, "One Banana, Two Banana" is a fantastic start to the show. I have never seen or heard of this puppet series, but Phair and the Issue's rendition of this song make me want to find out what I have been missing.

Sponge's rendition of the English "Speed Racer" theme, "Go Speed Racer Go," captures the spirit of the show. It's fast and relentless. According to Vinnie from Sponge, "as Speed Racer gave to me,we gave back in the form of a musical monument, " and it shows. The third song is "Sugar Sugar" by Mary Lou Lord with Semisonic. This track from "The Archie Show" was a hit single on the music charts back in 1969, and with Lord and Semisonic's rendition, I can see why.

No cartoon soundtrack compilation would be a cartoon soundtrack compilation without a Scooby Doo song or two, and "Saturday Morning" is no different. Matthew Sweet's "Scooby Doo, Where Are You?" is a fun take on this old classic. I wonder if this track was what gave Sweet all he needed to be chosen to do the theme song for the new Scooby Doo series, "Scooby Doo Mystery Inc."

The other songs on the album include "Josie and the Pussycats," as performed by Juliana Hatfield and Tanya Donelly, "The Bulldogs" by collective Soul, Butthole Surfers' "Underdog," "Gigantor" by Helmet, "Spider-man" by the Ramones, "Fat Albert" by Dig, "Popeye" by face to face, "the Grovie Goolies" by the Toadies, Sublime's "Hong Kong Phooey," "H. R. Pufnstuf" by the Murmurs, and many others.

The final track, "Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy" from "Ren and Stimpy," performed by Wax, was a great choice. The song embodies the emotions one gets from listening to this disc. It should be noted that several of these theme songs did not come from a cartoon, but from puppet shows. This is only gripe with the disc. Puppet shows are great, but they are not cartoons, and should 'not be on a compilation that calls itself cartoons' greatest hits.

With that said, "Saturday Morning: Cartoons Greatest Hits" is a great pick up for any animation fan. It is a great set of classic cartoon heme songs performed by some of the best voices in music. Even if you are no longer into cartoons, you should pick it up just for the music. Fifteen years after its original release, the music and the compilation are still enjoyable and fun, and I expect it ill remain that way well into the future.

Nas - Greatest Hits Album Review

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Global rating of the product: 4.5 stars

A greatest hits album is either a way for the fans to re-appreciate an artist s best songs or a possibility for the neophyte to discover an artist whose work he hardly heard about.

Despite his immense talent, Nas doesn t always make unanimity among hip hop s mainstream listeners. Nas lyrical genius is often ignored while some cheap, commercial rappers are often privileged.

May this CD convince all the people who are still skeptical about Nas.

Surviving The Times is taken out of Nas' upcoming album. The jazzy-soul musical background made of piano, keyboard, drums and trumpet sounds opens the door to ancient memories: flashback to the ancient times during which the young emcee was struggling to get a record deal. Meet Nas and his fellows in the NYC hood. Nas vocal amplitude needs to be underlined: from soft, warm to raw, from slow to powerful, it sets a light on trying times, sharing the emotional dimension with the listeners.

This song definitely belongs to your hip hop library.

Less Than An Hour is based on a dark bass and drum background. Welcome to another brilliant demonstration of indestructible flow during which the emcee blesses the mic. Like a thunderstorm, Nas will break out, stabbing vowels in a merciless manner, leaving free inspiration to his creativity.

It Ain't Hard To Tell is another Nas classic you could barely miss out. Each single words appears as the skilled emcee's personal creation. With a witty technique of his own, Nas will allow you to assist to a verbal typhoon.

Bridging The Gap is probably one of the most beautiful raps songs ever. Not only does it feature Nas' father, virtuosi trumpet player, Olu Dara, it also writes black folks musical history in its whole emotional dimension.

Bridging black musical genres, that s exactly what an attentive black music loving ear should do. Jazz, gospel, blues, soul and rap music all have common elements. They include black folks pain, sweat and musical creativity. The blues musical background of the song will allow the listeners to travel with Olu Dara whose intervention is enhanced with his son's hip hop loving soul. I love the spirit, the great sense of rhythm, and the black conscience of the song. Don't sleep on that one in any case!

Hate Me Now is enveloped with a dramatic musical background. The song features P Diddy. Haters can hate as much as they want, they won't stop a talented person from reaching the top. The atmosphere is scurrilous, embodied by Escobar's spirit.
The Nas-P Diddy duo is wittily worked on, lyrically and instrumentally as well.

Who doesn't know Made You Look? Discover or re-discover the artist's classic that is fulfilled with rhythmic drumbeats, explosive rhymes and an energizing spirit.

I Can is a song with an educative dimension. Built on Beethoven's letter to Heloise, the song will progressively guide the listener's conscience into the ghettos youths problems and aspirations. Addressing to young folks, Nas advices them to stay away from drugs and to work hard towards their dreams. You will go anywhere you want to as long as you work hard at it.

Nas is a giant in the rap game. His Greatest Hits CD summarizes years of hard work and undisputed talent: cop it with no hesitation.

100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time - Carlos Santana

Image : http://www.flickr.com

When we think of all the great guitarists throughout time, many names come to mind - Carlos Santana is one of them. In August 2003, Santana was named fifteenth on Rolling Stone magazine's "List of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time". And rightly so. This Mexican-born American guitarist has toured and recorded successfully since the late '60s. In the 90s he was rediscovered by a new generation with his album Supernatural, which involved well-known artists such as Rob Thomas and Eric Clapton.

Carlos Santana got his roots in Mexico, where he grew up. He spent a great amount of time around music as his father was a mariachi violinist. Santa took up the violin at five, but at eight switched to the guitar. Later when the family moved to Tijuana, he began playing in clubs and bars. By the early '60s, the family moved to San Francisco and Santana followed. In 1966 Santana created the Santana Blues Band. Despite the name, the group was at first a collective; it was required to name a nominal leader due to a provision of the musicians union. The name was eventually shortened to Santana and the band debuted at the Fillmore West Theater in San Francisco on June 16, 1968. Soon after, Santana recorded the album Super Session that had featured himself with Mike Bloomfield and Steve Stills. The result was The Live Adventures of Mike Bloomfield and Al Kooper, which marked Santana's recording debut.

Santana's career only evolved from here. He toured the U.S. prior to the release of the album, including a notable appearance at the celebrated Woodstock festival in August 1969 that was filmed and recorded. Santana was released the same month, and it became a massive hit, as did its follow-ups Abraxas (1970) and Santana III (1971). After completing recording and touring activities in connection with Santana III, the original Santana band broke up.

Carlos retained rights to the group's name Santana that consisted of himself and a constantly changing collection of hired musicians. His first recording after the breakup of the original group was a live show performed in Hawaii with singer and drummer Buddy Miles. The album reached the Top Ten and eventually went platinum. Following the release of the Santana band album Caravanserai (1972), Carlos formed a duo with John McLaughlin, guitarist for the Mahavishnu Orchestra. The two shared a spiritual leader in guru Sri Chinmoy, who bestowed upon Carlos the name Devadip, meaning "the eye, the lamp, and the light of God." Devadip Carlos Santana and Mahavishnu John McLaughlin's duo album Love Devotion Surrender was released in June 1973. It reached the Top 20 and eventually went gold. After releasing another Santana band project, Welcome, Carlos next teamed up with another religious disciple, Turiya Alice Coltrane, widow of John Coltrane, for a third duo album. Their collaboration, Illuminations, was released in September 1974; it spent two months in the charts, peaking in the bottom quarter of the Top 100.

During the 1970s, Carlos Santana released a series of gold or platinum albums: Borboletta (1974), Amigos (1975), Festival (1976), Moonflower (1977), and Inner Secrets (1978). In February 1979, he finally released his first real solo album, the half-live, half-studio Oneness/Silver Dreams -- Golden Reality, actually credited to Devadip.

During the 80s, songs that got more radio time began making their appearances included "Winning" in 1981 and "Hold On" (a remake of Canadian artist Ian Thomas' song) in 1982 both reached the top twenty. Santana again paid tribute to his early rock roots by doing the film score to La Bamba, which was based on the tragically short life of rock and roll legend Ritchie Valens and starred Lou Diamond Philips.

Carlos spent almost five years away from recording, not returning until June 1999 when he issued Supernatural on Arista Records. The Santana band album featured many tracks co-written by guest stars such as Rob Thomas of matchbox 20, Eric Clapton, Lauryn Hill, and others. Paced by the number one singles "Smooth" and "Maria Maria," the album became the biggest hit of Santana's career, selling upwards of ten million copies. It also won Santana eight Grammy Awards.

In 2002, Santana released Shaman, revisiting the Supernatural format of guest artists including P.O.D. and Seal. Although the album was not the runaway success its predecessor had been, it produced two radio-friendly hits. "The Game of Love" featuring Michelle Branch, rose to number five on the Billboard Hot 100 and spent many weeks at the top of the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart.

Other albums followed including Possibilities and All That I Am. In 2008, Santana started working with his long-time friend, Marcelo Vieira, on his solo album Marcelo Vieira's Acoustic Sounds, which is due to be released at the end of the year. It features tracks such as "For Flavia" and "Across the Grave", the later featuring heavy melodic riffs by Santana.

In addition to his music notoriety, Santana also oversees several business ventures including the Milagro Foundation, which has donated nearly $3 million to help disadvantaged youth; his women's shoe line, Carlos by Carlos Santana, which has racked up $100 million in sales; his signature brand of sparkling white wine; his partnership in Maria Maria, a chain of high-end Mexican cantinas; and his upcoming documentary called Architects of a New Dawn, which advocates global change through the power of positive thinking.

What will this 100 greatest guitarists do next? One can only imagine.

George Benson Greatest Hits Of All Smooth Jazz Music CD Review

Image : http://www.flickr.com

The incomparable guitarist George Benson has released The Greatest Hits Of All CD and basically it is exactly that.

I've got one word to describe this one, Wow!

This is one of the greatest greatest hits CD's I've had the pleasure of reviewing.

Benson has been in the music game for so long I have to admit I had forgotten about some of these outstanding tunes. It's really a testament to the fact that he has been a true hit maker for over 30 years now. Virtually defining the quiet storm format back in his younger days, and he continues to roll along even today.

A lot of these songs I remember hearing on the radio back in the days when I didn't really know who was singing or playing them. Not knowing it was George Benson!

With the release of The Greatest Hits Of All, Benson's artistic excellence is on full display as he mixes his at once smooth and funky guitar playing style throughout the collection.

The CD is packed with 19, I say again nineteen!, of Benson's chart topping hits from his very long and amazingly outstanding career.

It begins with one of Benson's best songs of all, This Masquerade and just rolls right through 18 more of what a lot of people will agree are some of the greatest songs we as music fans have heard over the last 30 years.

Benson, with his signature smooth guitar playing, showing why he his now considered one of the greatest artists of our time.

Contributors on the project includes an amazing line up of musicians with whom Benson has collaborated over the years. Industry heavy hitters like Michael Boddicker, Earl Klugh, Phil Upchurch, Marcus Miller, Lee Ritenour and Narada Michael Walden just to name a few, and the list actually goes on and on and on.

Benson's The Greatest Hits Of All is simply an outstanding collection. If you love music this is not a CD you SHOULD get. It's one you NEED.

Greatest Artists and Songs

Image : http://www.flickr.com

What would current musicians be without the foundation set by the legendary bands and classic artists that came before them?

Vivian Scott at Epic Records spoke the truth when she said that "There would be no new school without the old school". The status of "Legendary" and "Classic" when it comes to music is reserved for the best of the best. Even with thousands of bands with great music, there are always those that stand out from the rest.

If you want to discuss timeless music, Chuck Berry is one of the best places to start. Berry's hit song "Johnny B. Goode" in 1958 is so well known that I doubt any of you read the song title without singing it or hearing it play out in your head. This came from the same decade that brought you "Hound Dog" by the King himself, Elvis Presley, and "I Walk the Line" by Johnny Cash. But don't misinterpret this as age solely defines if a song is a classic. As new generations of music are ushered in, their best artists leave their mark as well. So move forward in time and you'll find: Aretha Franklin ready to teach you a little "Respect"; Van Morrison telling you what we use to sing in "Brown Eyed Girl"; and The Who, reminding you what this time period is all about with "My Generation".

With hundreds or maybe thousands of classic songs out there, no list could do justice to the these great bands. The fact that each decade has left behind it's own legends provides that generation the ability to interpret who should be on that list. Mash-ups and songs covered by newer artist prove the ability of the current generation's ability to represent the legends that inspired them. For example DJ Danger Mouse combined artist Jay-Z's "The Black Album "with The Beatle's "The White Album" to create The Grey Album; and you've probably turned the radio up as you heard the intro to Don Henley's "Boys of Summer" only to find out that it's a covered version by The Ataris.

But don't forget, many of these bands are still alive and some of them have continued producing music. You can always pick up Guitar Hero III and battle Slash from Guns N' Roses or look up tour dates for Metallica and Sting. In the music industry, it's possible to be a living legend. Just ask The Rolling Stones what it was like to rock out with the dinosaurs when you're at their next concert.

The Offspring Greatest Hits Album Review

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Unlike many other Greatest Hits album's The Offspring chose to put nearly all their radio hits on this single album. Whereas other bands sometimes like to just put their favorite compilation of songs, The Offspring's Greatest Hits album really leans more towards what the fans wanted making this a CD that is truly all about the fans.

The album was released in July 2005 and published by Columbia records the same as some of their other albums. The album has been certified Gold by the RIAA so listeners can be sure that this was a reasonably popular CD comparatively speaking against other The Offspring albums.

For listeners who are purchasing this album simply to hear their new previously unreleased songs "Can't Repeat" and "Next to You", they may be slightly disappointed. The songs are relatively simplistic with "Next to You" being a cover of a song by The Police. Although the new material is not anything special, the songs included on this are pretty much everything you could want from The Offspring prior to 2005 if you are a casual fan of this band.

Expect their most popular and played songs on the radio such as "Gone Away," "Come Out and Play," and "The Kids Aren't Alright" to be on this CD in high quality so you will get a great listening experience.

This album is highly recommended for those who like punk bands such as Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and Stone Temple Pilots. Their sound is a bit more Popish than Nirvana and more along the lines of certain Stone Temple Pilots songs. Because this album is comprised mostly of radio hits, it also contains much of The Offspring's pop song writing side and thus is a very good comparison to Thank You by Stone Temple Pilots. So if you liked this album, it is recommended that you pick up this one and vise versa.

If you do not already own The Offspring albums, then their Greatest Hits compilation is a fantastic way to start. It contains all the songs that the radio was playing during the mid 1990s and the early 2000s from this classic punk band.
