Baby Boomer Music - Good Stuff

I am a "baby boomer, baby boomer who loves music. I am a product of the '50s and '60s. Honestly, I like the kind of recordings of music from all periods of time, but I love all of you do with the music I heard while growing up. I'm in my 60 hours and I pound on drums for a table when "Wipe Out" played on the radio.

I remember vividly the great changes that took place in the new trends in real time. The end of 50was the "do-wap" sound of singing groups in white and black groups and the message has always been very simple. Boy meets girl, "Puppy Love" takes a break to boys and girls, and sadness sinks in. .. until he meets a new girl.

In the early '60s, the boys put in cars and girls are involved ("It 's a real order, my 409!"). Soon the girls, pick up the boys were in their car and the beach. If you lived in California Surfin went. If you lived on the east coast, you go around theDistrict and sang in harmony with your taste buds.

And then came the British invasion in the early 60s. For a while ', groups of American singing took a back seat to the groups from Britain. The culture definitely changed. We left the innocence of life and move to a new state eclectic. E 'was weird right. The culture coarsened life here in the U.S..

The creativity of the music was fantastic. Groups and singers from both countries (Britain and the United States)Hit Hit hammered for music has always been bold. Classic Rock 'n Roll, Country Rock, Folk, R & B, ballads and beautiful all took center stage. Creedence Clearwater Revival and James Taylor had the visiting supporters.

Unfortunately, the Vietnam War split the country and has become an important part of the music scene. The song makes fun of the war and the United States, at the same time. He 's gone overboard and actually attacked the military. The music, I think, actually helped to cause hurt feelings that existed between the two camps. Woodstock was an anti-war party. It was the fashionable thing to do for many.

For me the party was over. Rain On My Parade had and will never be the same. The 70 is a lot of great songs that they still produced today. The same applies to the 80. I have not much cared for what came next.

For us Boomers, our creative sound had disappeared in the late '60s, but it was niceFun while it lasted. As my father always said, "those were the days." Hey, someone turn on the radio ... playing our song.
