Music hit

The people loved and still love music of the 80s, but what about the 90? The 90 years have been full of forgotten treasures that the basis for future action. Bands like Green Day, Radiohead and Pearl Jam made it big then and are still enormous.

However, there were also those bands, the singers seemed to suddenly form, hit by one, a big hit and then disappear just as quickly as it arrived on the scene the Internet.

These are formally known as a one-hit wondersand no one can remember the name of the band only the title of the hit songs, for obvious reasons.

Take breakfast at Tiffany's song for my first example. This song was, the crowd went wild for this, but one wonders how many other hit, no one can remember the names of the band can be when?

Probably could not think that there are ten tried, it was Deep Blue Something, the sample One Hit Wonder of the 90s.

Try another, "The Way", which was aShot in the late 90's and loved by many. This is actually still played well today, but the band has never done another song so good that you make.

The Rembrandt, they are my third temporary feeling, to make the list. Their hit song is played and heard many people every day and would not even be able to track and share the band's name with the results.

I'll Be There For You, ring bells? It 'was a song popular at the time, became theShow theme song for the TV show, Oh, now I remember! And like everyone else, The Rembrandts faded into oblivion.

But the questions of who has helped to bring one-hit-list of sensations for the year 2000? That will be available soon.

The Fantastic Music World of Stevie Wonder

Born May 13, 1950, in Saginaw, Michigan, Steveland Hardaway Judkins grew up to become yet another icon of the music world in the late 1900s. Apparently, he was blind since he was a baby because cataracts had developed in his eyes when he was an infant, but like Ray Charesl, Steveland did not let his blindness get in the way of his music. He would later come to be known as Stevie Wonder and would be known as a record producer, song-writer and multi-instrumentalist because he could play so many different instruments. He has also often been referred to as a great musical genius.

Stevie Wonder began playing music and singing as early as four years of age. Impressed by Stevie's talent, Berry Gordy signed the young boy up under the Tamla label. It was soon after this, in 1963, when Stevie had his first big hit, called 'Fingertips'. This hit was what was responsible for bringing Stevie Wonder out into the public eye. He continued to have more hits throughout the '60s and '70s.

Due to the lack of creative control over what he could do, Stevie decided to leave the Motown label when he was twenty-one so that he could go out on his own and be more creative. He then created two albums on his own and used these to his advantage when Motown was trying to negotiate with him. They wanted his talent back, but he wanted to own the rights to his own songs and also wanted to have more creative control over his own work.

In 1972, Motown agreed to his demands and he decided that he would return. It was not long after his return that he released yet another album that was such a hit it was regarded as a classic at the time. Throughout his career, things went relatively smoothly and he later won a total of three Grammy Awards. He continued to put out a few more albums, toured a bit and played at a number of concerts.

As time went on, some of his music was a little hard to accept by some people because it was so different and perhaps not so easy to understand. In fact, in 1976 he released an album that was considered to be one of Stevie's biggest achievements, even though it was not readily accepted by the audience. This particular album is still seen as one of the most accomplished in the history of pop music.

The Biggest 1990s One Hit Wonder Bands

People loved and still love 80's music but what about the 90's? The 90's were full of forgotten treasures that set the stage for future acts. Bands such as Green Day, Radiohead and Pearl Jam made it big back then and are still huge today.

However, there were also those bands that seemed to suddenly form, write a hit of a song, become a huge success and then fade out just as quick as they had come on the scene.

These are formally known as one hit wonders and no one can ever remember the bands names only the title of the hit songs, for obvious reasons.

Take the song Breakfast At Tiffany's for my first example. When this song emerged, the crowds went wild for it but as with many other one hit wonders, no one can recall the name of the band, can you?

You probably wouldn't guess it after ten tries, it was Deep Blue Something, the exemplary one hit wonder of the 90's.

Try another one, "The Way" which was a hit during the late 90's and loved by many. This one actually still gets played even today but the band never managed to make another song as good at that one.

The Rembrandts, they are my third temporary sensation to make the list. Their hit song is played and listened to every day and many people wouldn't even be able to put the name of the band to the hit song.

I'll Be There For You, ring any bells? It was such a loved song in its time that it became the theme song for the TV show Friends, Oh now you remember! And as with all the rest, The Rembrandts faded away into obscurity.

But the questions is, who has helped produced the one hit sensations list for the 2000's? That one is coming soon.

You Can Compose a One Hit Wonder

Image : http://www.flickr.com

We all love and enjoy music. There is music everywhere you go and we can enjoy this anytime we want. The great thing about music is you can close your eyes and drift into a place reality cannot take you. Just listen to the music and drift away. The composer takes us to this place and the music they compose gives us great joy.

The beautiful thing is anyone with a little music background can compose music. Songwriting software can be used by anyone with a basic knowledge of point and click. Combine the two and you can have the next big hit. Think of a simple melody that is catchy and you are well on your way to having a one hit wonder.

There is nothing hard about music composing. Software makes writing it out very easy. Creativity is the backbone to writing music. If you are reading this and you are a musician, you already have most of what you need. I say this because as a musician you are creative and it will only be a matter of time till you have a catchy melody.

The only other thing you will need is songwriting software. This is very important if you want to get started in music composing. Software also makes this process easy and saves a great deal of time. I never wanted to be a music composer. Software has changed my mind because you can do so much with it. Printing out parts is so much easier. The list goes on and on.

Music feeds the soul and whenever I hear my favorite song I drift into a place reality cannot take me. Technology is making our lives easier and we should take advantage of it anyway we can. I hope much more music will be composed because songwriting software saves time and in return we will have more music.
