Candi Staton is a talented gospel and soul artist whose career began in 1950, more than five generations, which has stamped its indelible mark upon millions of fans of gospel music and pop.
Staton was born on 13 March 1943 in Hanceville, Alabama and grew up in a rural setting in a country farmhouse.
