There are probably a lot of people wondering whatever happened to great American country music. This is because country music has evolved into something that many people do not recognize. That is okay, though, because everything has to evolve in some way. But for those wishing to get a taste of that music they used to love, they have to tap other sources to experience it once more. Still, the country music of today can still be considered great American country music for the simple fact that it is still going strong. Country music has never waivered in its fan base and probably never will with today's youth being reeled in by the new sounds that the industry has to offer.
